Two ways in: a markdown link you paste, and a machine endpoint your assistant connects to.

Quick answer

Add .md to any ledger entry URL and you get the same page as plain markdown, which any assistant can read from the link. For full access, connect the MCP endpoint at https://drop.rizzgroup.org/mcp, which lets a client search the ledger, read entries and start new drops with your personal key.

This is documentation, not a pitch. There are two paths. The markdown link needs nothing set up. The endpoint needs a key and one config block.

Steps

  1. Step 1

    Paste a markdown link

    Take any entry URL, for example https://drop.rizzgroup.org/ledger/some-slug, and add .md on the end. The file holds the summary, core ideas, notable lines, resources and the full transcript, with no page furniture around it. Every entry page has a Copy AI link button that gives you the same thing.

  2. Step 2

    Generate a key

    Open your account page and find the API access section. Create a key, copy it once, store it somewhere safe. The key is stored hashed, so it can never be shown again, and you can revoke it from the same place.

  3. Step 3

    Connect the endpoint

    Add the MCP server to your AI client using the config below. The endpoint speaks streamable HTTP, so any client that supports remote MCP servers can use it. Reading the ledger works without a key, running drops does not.

  4. Step 4

    Know what it costs

    A run started through the endpoint spends the same credits as a run on the site: one credit per started minute of audio. Key Pass and owner rules apply unchanged.

Questions

Do the markdown links need a key?
No. They cover public ledger entries only, and they hold nothing that the entry page does not already show.
Where do I get the key?
Your account page, under API access. It appears once at creation and is stored hashed after that.
What happens if a run takes a long time?
The drop tool returns a job id. If your client gives up waiting, call get_drop with that id and you get the status, then the full result once it lands.
Can I use the endpoint without a key?
Yes, for get_entry and search_ledger. The two tools that spend credits need the key.
