Summary
The video demos an app called Sevan that automatically builds visual snippets for music tracks, syncing lyrics, cover art, and animation to the audio. It covers the full workflow from dropping in a demo track to exporting a finished 9x16 reel, plus a plugin version that works inside a DAW.
Core ideas
- Instant track analysis: Dropping a demo into Sevan triggers automatic processing of the audio before any editing starts.
- Lyric sync on autopilot: Selecting the lyrics layer and hitting synchronize gets the whole track transcribed and timed without manual tagging.
- Cover art that moves: The cover image can be resized, rounded at the edges, and set to pulse in time with the music.
- Built for reels: A dedicated 9x16 size option targets Reels and Stories format directly inside the export settings.
- Reactive visuals with presets: Users can cycle presets live during playback and choose what the image reacts to, like kick drum, overall level, mid frequencies, or sub bass.
- Fine alignment tools: Double tapping resets a misplaced element, and Y axis control recenters the cover precisely.
- Extra visual layers: Adding a vinyl graphic and wrapping the art in a label design gives the output a finished record look.
- DAW plugin mode: Inside a DAW, pressing space makes Sevan read the track's energy automatically, separate from the standalone app workflow.
- One click export: Choosing a format and hitting export renders the audio and drops the final file straight into the selected folder.
